Gamesa has won a contract to supply turbines to an unnamed 99MW wind farm in the south central US.
The Spanish manufacturer will deliver and commission a total of 48 G114-2.0MW and 2.1MW units.
Delivery will take place next year, with the project also scheduled to go into commercial operation in 2017.
Completion of the project, along with others on order or under construction will bring Gamesa’s installed capacity in the US to more than 5GW.
