The Port of Ardersier in the north of Scotland is in new ownership following an administration process for the one-time offshore wind hopeful.
Documents filed by KPMG in recent days indicate the facility on the Moray Firth was sold in the summer for £5m.
The buyer was not revealed but English property developer and investor CWC Group is currently listing the port as one of its assets.
Bank of Scotland as secured creditor was claiming £25.7m, but will only receive a fraction of that payment from the proceeds of the sale.
“There will be a shortfall to the secured lender,” said KPMG, adding that no payments will be made to unsecured lenders.
Ardersier had planned to create a construction base for wind farms in the north of Scotland including fabrication, laydown and operations and maintenance facilities.
