Foresight Solar Fund has raised £31.9m in its latest share issue to help acquire projects totalling 82MW in the UK.
A total of 30,995,537 new ordinary shares will be issued at a price of £1.03 per share, with settlement planned to take place on 28 October.
Foresight chairman Alex Ohlsson said: “We are delighted with the result … with support from both existing and new investors meaning the placing was oversubscribed.
“Having secured exclusivity over an 82MW operational portfolio, the company expects to deploy the additional funds raised shortly.”
