Gamesa has completed the implementation of its Energy Thrust programme for a French utility at 28 wind farms totalling 872MW in France, Poland, Portugal and Spain.
The company said the work covered turbines from its 850kW and 2MW platforms with the aim of increasing average output by up to 5%.
Gamesa said it developed energy thrust to make its 660kW, 850kW and 2MW platforms more efficient.
The company has also entered into an agreement with a power utility for the renewal of its operations and maintenance services for 286 turbines totalling 305MW.
The agreement covers machines in Gamesa’s 850kW and 2MW range located at wind farms in Spain and Portugal.
