US renewables developer Novatus Energy has selected Eon Energy Services to manage four wind farms with a combined capacity of more than 700MW across three states.
Eon will provide asset management, site supervision and balance of plant management for the 300MW South Plains II and 150MW Route 66 projects in Texas, the 148MW Oakfield wind farm in Maine and the 105MW Palouse scheme in Washington State.
The contracts are for five years, Novatus Energy said.
Novatus chief executive Steve Doyon said: “Eon is one of the most experienced operators in North America and their track record of high quality and commitment to safety helped make this an easy decision.
“Novatus Energy continues to look at opportunities for expansion, but managing, operating, and maintaining our assets in a safe and efficient manner is our first priority.”
