Eno Energy is to unveil 4MW versions of its 114 and 126 turbine range at the WindEnergy 2016 trade show in Hamburg next week.
The German outfit said the new units, which will be available by the middle of next year, are upgrades of the 3.5MW 114 and 126 machines.
The 4MW variants will achieve additional yields of 7% compared with the 3.5MW turbines, Eno added.
The new units will be available in the IEC IIA wind turbine class, but not the IEC IIS and the IEC IIIS classes. The wind turbine classes are based on wind speed and turbulence intensity.
The 3.5MW 114 is still available in the IECIIS class and 126 in the IEC IIIS class, Eno said.
Eno is also expanding its tower range with steel tube variants now available with hub heights between 92 metres and 142m.
The 126 model also now offers a 97m tower version in addition to 117m and 137m, the company said.
