Axys Technologies has completed the first set of sea trials for its Triaxys g3 wave sensor in the German Bight and off the west coast of Canada.
The company said that it used both the Triaxys wave buoy and other industry standard buoys as references during the tests.
It said the sensor “demonstrated extremely high levels of correlation against all reference buoys”.
New features on the unit include frequency partitioning, continuous wave analysis and processing output and refactored messages, Axys said.
Further sea trials are already underway with a range of partners, it added.
