The Netherlands’ second offshore wind energy tender in a year will be open for bids from this Friday.
Bidders will have until 29 September to send in offers for the 330MW and 350MW offshore wind farms Borssele 3&4.
The Dutch government will have 13 weeks to choose the successful candidate or candidates.
The country intends to have a total of five 700MW offshore wind farm zones up and running by 2023.
Dong won the first auction for Borssele 1&2 with a bid of €72.70 per megawatt hour, excluding transmission costs.
