The first Siemens SWT-3.2-101 turbine has been installed at the 58MW Sliabh Bawn wind farm in Ireland.
Installation of hardware kicked off at the County Roscommon site in early August and the first full turbine was completed on 14 August.
Sliabh Bawn is being developed by Irish semi-state duo Coillte and Bord na Mona.
The wind farm will feature 20 Siemens turbines when completed later this year. Commissioning is expected in 2017.
Tralee-based Denis Moriarty has tackled civil engineering works while Gaeltech Utilities is the appointed electricals contractor on the job.
