Vestas is making final preparations for turbine component deliveries to Renewable Energy Systems’ 30.6MW Garreg Lwyd Hill wind farm in Wales.
Civil engineering works are well advanced at the site between Felindre and Llanbadarn Fynydd in Powys with Jones Bros tackling the job.
RES said turbine components will begin arriving on 12 September in a project update. A total of 17 Vestas V100 turbines will feature with all components to be delivered by mid-December.
The wind farm was given the green light in 2015 following a seven-year planning run.
