Suzlon Group is to supply turbines totalling 132MW for a wind farm being developed by ReNew Power Ventures in India.
The order is for 2.1MW S97 units on 90-metre tubular towers and 120-metre hybrid towers.
The project will be located at two sites in Elutalla and Veerbhadra in the Ananthpur district of Andhra Pradesh and is scheduled to be completed by March 2017.
Suzlon will also provide life-cycle asset management services for an initial period of 12 years.
The deal brings Suzlon’s total portfolio with ReNew Power to 510.30MW in the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
