Statkraft is kicking off construction today on the 288MW Storheia wind farm in Norway.
Norwegian contractor Johs J Syltern will start building the 2.2km of access roads for the project.
The work on the roads is scheduled to be complete by summer 2017.
Storheia is the second and largest of six projects that make up the 1GW Fosen wind portfolio, which is led by Statkraft.
The other projects in the portfolio are Harbaksfjellet, Roan and Kvenndalsfjellet facilities north of Trondheim and the Geitfjellet and Hitra 2 plants in the south.
