The first four MHI Vestas V164 8MW nacelles for Dong Energy’s 258MW Burbo 2 offshore wind farm have arrived at the pre-assembly port in Belfast.
The nacelles weigh 390 tonnes each, MHI Vestas said.
Blades for the 32 turbines started arriving in Belfast last week.
The assembled machines are scheduled to be loaded out in September by A2Sea to the project site in the Irish Sea.
