Vattenfall has taken delivery of its 500th turbine component for the 228MW Pen y Cymoedd wind farm in South Wales.
The component is a blade for one of 76 Siemens SWT 3MW turbines to be installed at the site between Neath and Aberdare.
Daily convoys continue to bring the turbine components to the project from Swansea docks. Vattenfall said there will be 684 component deliveries in total.
Installation work started in January on the 145-metre high turbines and is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year.
