Swedish outfit MMT has signed a four-year agreement with TenneT to provide geophysical and geotechnical surveys of grid connection routes for offshore wind farms in the German North Sea.
The agreement runs from 2016 to 2020 and will include both offshore and nearshore work, MMT said.
MMT said it has recently been awarded two “call-off” contracts within the framework agreement – including geophysical and geotechnical services – which will be conducted by its ROV and survey vessels Franklin and IceBeam and nearshore vessel SeaBeam.
MMT chief executive officer Stefan Eliasson said: “We have now included a wide range of vessels, such as Stril Explorer, Franklin, SeaBeam, and chartered options and together with our team of marine survey experts, we are offering a complete set-up for TenneT’s marine survey projects within this framework.”
