Nominations for The Scottish Green Energy Awards opened today, covering 13 categories across the Scotland’s renewable energy industry and beyond.
The awards include: best professional services; sustainable Scotland; engineering excellence; business growth; champion of renewables; rising star; best community project; best community engagement; contribution to skills; sustainable development; best innovation; and outstanding contribution.
Nominations can be made until 23 September at www.scottishrenewables.com/events/gea2016.
The winners will be announced at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on 1 December.
Scottish Renewables chief executive Niall Stuart said: “The Scottish Green Energy Awards are our industry’s opportunity to recognise the determination and innovation – and the people, organisations and communities – that have helped the renewable energy sector evolve during a particularly challenging 12 months.
“We’ll be reflecting at the event on the last two decades of green energy in Scotland – 20 years which have seen nothing less than a remarkable transformation in our energy system.”
