Norvento has completed 10 new turbine installations in the UK in the first half of 2016, with a further two sites starting construction in the same period.
The medium-scale turbine manufacturer said that another seven fully consented sites across Scotland and Wales are awaiting installation in the second half of the year, weather permitting.
Norvento will also launch a new version of its nED100 100kW turbine in the first quarter of 2017.
It said the new unit includes improvements to the generator, nacelle and blade, as well as operations and maintenance access.
The company is currently exhibiting the new model to landowners and high-energy users across the UK.
Norvento director of UK business development Ivo Arnús said: “We’re constantly working to refine our product line and service offering to ensure that we’re able to maximise the impact of becoming energy independent for a diverse range of landowners and industrial users across the UK, that have high levels of energy consumption.
“Ultimately, that’s one of the key factors behind the recent build-out of our pipeline – and with the new turbine becoming available early next year, we’re expecting to sustain this momentum, even as the feed-in tariff is removed.”
