SeaRoc Group has added five developers to the team behind the SeaPlanner system to meet growing project demand.
The new hires have been made this year and include a trio of software developers and a pair of test analysts.
SeaRoc said SeaPlanner was selected in April as the system provider for Dong Energy’s marine and helicopter coordination centre, which will act as a centralised hub for the developer’s UK offshore wind portfolio.
In May, SeaPlanner was awarded a contract to provide the vessel and traffic management system for the 400MW Rampion offshore wind farm off the Sussex coast, the company added.
SeaPlanner technical manager Roy Dempster said: “We’re thrilled to welcome five new developers to the team during this exciting period of growth.
“The continuous development of our software and the increasing demand from clients for more complex and integrated solutions led us to look for additions to the team that would fit with our strategy for innovation and first-class service.”
