Indian developer Mytrah Energy has installed wind farms with a combined 210MW this year, beating its 127MW target.
The company opened the 105MW Vajrakarur 2, 62.9MW Nidhi and 65.1MW Nazeerabad projects in India to reach a total wind capacity of 826.4MW across seven states, it said.
Mytrah plans to commission a 90MW project this year and another 87MW by mid-2017.
The developer is also developing its solar business, with 422MW of contracts won in Telangana, Punjab and Karnataka.
“We have excellent operational momentum now in both wind and solar which is developing Mytrah into a well-diversified renewable energy business,” chief executive Ravi Kailas said. “With the additional capacity in place Mytrah is in a strong position to meet its overall targets for 2016.”
