German turbine manufacturer Eno Energy is partnering with the Rotoron consortium to develop wind projects totalling more than 60MW.
Eno said the agreement covers several scenarios were it will be the supplier of wind turbines and also become involved in projects at an early stage to provide planning know-how, project management and funding expertise and site evaluation.
Eno sales manager Henri Wasnick said: “Currently we are already negotiating the first specific project from the project pool specified in the cooperation agreement.
“We anticipate that we will already receive approval this year for three wind turbines for our highest yield 3.5MW platform in North Rhine Westphalia.”
Rotoron managing director professor Hoffmann said: “This cooperation will enable us to design the type of involvement in each individual project more flexibly.”
