Nordex has scored an Irish double-header with a 42.5MW pair of turbine contracts in the southwest of the country.
The German manufacturer will deliver seven N90 2.5MW machines to Element Power in November for its Coollegrean wind farm in County Kerry.
Nordex has also confirmed a deal for 10 of the same machine for Invis Energy’s 25MW Killaveenoge project in Cork, to be delivered in October.
Both deals include a 15-year service contract with the Invis contract first reported exclusively in subscriber-only newsletter reNEWS.
“Nordex has built business in Ireland over many year (and it) continues to be an important market for our company. These new orders mean that we have over 600MW of turbines either in operation or construction”, says Nordex sales officer Patxi Landa.
