Nordex Group has commissioned Energia Renewables’ 95MW Meenadreen wind farm in Donegal, bringing the German manufacturer’s total installed capacity in Ireland to 529MW.
The Meenadreen project features 38 N90/2500 machines.
The German company is also supplying 18 N90/2500 turbines to Invis Energy’s 45MW Slievecallan West project in Clare.
The turbines, which Nordex will service for 15 years, will be installed on 80-metre tubular steel towers.
