Gamesa has bagged a 40MW order from developer ReNew Power for a wind farm in the Karnataka region of India.
The turnkey deal will see the Spanish turbine manufacturer deliver and install 20 G97-2.0MW class S machines with tower heights of 104 metres.
Gamesa said it will tackle the civil and electrical works with a long-term service agreement also in place.
Commissioning is scheduled for September this year.
