Duke Energy has acquired 10MW of solar projects in North Carolina from ET Capital.
The Charlotte company said today it had purchased two 5MW PV arrays, Hertford in Perquimans County and Long Farm in Northampton County.
Both projects were completed in March with 15-year power purchase agreements in place with Dominion NC Power. A purchase price was not disclosed.
Duke’s commercial portfolio president Greg Wolf said: “Providing the benefits of renewable energy and opportunities for local economic development in the state are important to Duke Energy. We are pleased to add these projects from ET Capital to our growing solar portfolio in Eastern North Carolina.”
