Inox Wind is to supply PTC Energy with 20MW for wind farm at Nipaniya, Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh in India.
Inox will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle – from manufacture and supply of turbines to erection and commissioning. It will also provide long-term operations and maintenance.
The company will supply and install 10 2MW DFIG 93.3 diameter units.
The order is PTC Energy’s first with Inox Wind and the project is due to be commissioned by March 2016.
PTC Energy is also developing a 30MW wind project in Madhya Pradesh, which is also expected to be commissioned later this year.
