Vestas has extended a long-term service agreement with an unnamed Spanish wind developer to maintain six wind farms, totaling 268MW, for the remainder of their expected lifetime.
The deal involves the extension of a full-scope active output management 4000 service contract.
Vestas Mediterranean president Marco Graziano said: “We’re extremely pleased that this valued customer has decided to renew their service agreement for the six wind parks.
“This is a very significant agreement echoing the momentum that Vestas’ service business is experiencing through creating tailor-made service solutions to meet our customers’ specific needs of optimising energy output, minimising downtime, and extending turbine lifetime.”
