Dutch bank ABN Amro has appointed Marie de Graaf as head of renewable energy.
She will report to Peter Boogers, global head of energy, commodities & transportation energy clients.
De Graaf (pictured) has worked since 2009 as project manager for and is one of the founders of Green Giraffe, a specialist advisory boutique focused on the renewable energy sector.
Prior to that she held analyst positions at Econcern and NIBC.
De Graaf’s position is part of the bank’s energy, commodities & transportation clients business.
ABN Amro global head of energy, commodities & transportation clients Maarten Terlouw said: “Further investing in renewables perfectly fits the sustainable growth ambitions of ABn Amro.
“With her proven years of renewable energy experience and entrepreneurial mindset we are confident that Marie will be a valuable asset to the bank.”
