Husum Fair has appointed Arne Petersen as its new managing director, effective from 1 January next year.
He will replace Peter Becker, who has been head of Husum Fair for the past seven years and is leaving the company at the end of the year.
Petersen (pictured) has been head of expo management at Koelnmesse for the last four years.
Andrea Werner is also joining the Husum team as project manager. She will be responsible for both Husum New Energy and Husum Wind.
Husum New Energy is scheduled to take place between 15 and 18 March 2018, with Husum Wind set for 10 to 13 September 2019.
Renewable energy remains a top priority of Husum Fair, the board of directors said.
