John Laing Investments has concluded framework agreements with WKN to acquire 50MW of wind energy in France and 40MW in Poland.
The French projects are expected to be successfully launched in the next two years and each purchase is subject “building and operational approval’ of the projects.
WKN, part of PNE Wind Group, will have responsibility for construction of the wind farms and is commissioned as EPC contractor by John Laing.
In Poland, the project is scheduled to be included in one of the upcoming Polish renewable energy system auctions, WKN said.
WKN chief operating officer Roland Stanze said: “We want to expand our strategic approach to constructing international turnkey wind farms in the future.”
