Wind turbine drive train component supplier Winergy today named Eon Energy Services as a factory authorized service provider for inspection, repair and replacement of its equipment.
The designation allows Eon Energy Services to perform up tower repair and replacement on Winergy equipment and to provide support to the company in the field.
Winergy director Richard Nelson said: “Adding Eon to our team will expand our geographic presence, maintain our high standards of quality and offer easier access to factory trained technicians for the owners of our products.”
Eon Energy Services president Keith Day said: “We have worked with Winergy for some time and have used a number of their gearboxes in our own fleet over the last 10 years.
“We are excited by this opportunity and look forward to bring our Owner’s Eye approach to one of the best teams in the business.”
