Senvion has scooped a 74MW pair of turbine orders for RES wind farms in France.
The German manufacturer is supplying 26 of its MM82 machines to the Sambres wind farm while 11 of its MM92s will feature at the Bois de la Serre.
The deal includes a 10-year service agreement with an option for an additional five years.
Sambres is at an advanced stage having already commissioned and construction is underway at Bois ahead of full operations in mid-2016.
RES said: “We are very pleased to be building these two projects in the Black Mountain area in Languedoc using Senvion turbines that meet the specific requirements of these technically challenging sites.”
