UK subsea cable specialist ETA has set up a new division to focus on the provision of marine cable connectors, terminations and accessories called ETA Connect.
The company said the new division has been established to help bring the company’s solutions to a wider market.
It added that the division will provide bespoke designs, as well as develop production lines for larger scale projects.
ETA Connect will also market related products, such as power grounding units and cable recovery and repair tools.
The company has already been active in the marine sector providing connector, jointing solutions and consultancy services. Previous projects include the Cape Sharp project in the Bay of Fundy and the DeltaStream project at Ramsey Sound.
ETA Connect managing director and head of the new division Andrew Thomas said: “ETA has a strong cohesive approach, developing high quality, robust products at a competitive price.
“With this new division I am looking forward to working with customers and suppliers – old and new – to expand ETA’s capability and product range.”
