French company EDF Energies Nouvelles has commissioned a pair of US wind farms totalling 400MW.
The developer said the 250MW Roosevelt project in New Mexico and 150MW Slate Creek project in Kansas are both online and operational.
The latter features Vestas 2MW hardware and construction was led by Mortenson. Roosevelt also features Vestas turbines.
The larger project sells electricity to Xcel on a 20-year PPA while Slate Creek power goes to Great Plains Energy, again on a 20-year deal.
EDF EN has more than 3GW installed across the US.
