Vestas has confirmed a turbine supply contract for RES Group’s 198MW Bluestem wind farm in the US state of Oklahoma.
The Danish manufacturer will provide 60 of its V117-3.3MW machines to the project on a supply-only basis.
Delivery is due in the third quarter of 2016 and commissioning is scheduled for end-2016. The contract includes a five-year service tie-up.
The deal takes the company’s order book to 7726MW.
Vestas traditionally makes a late order rush to close the year, securing 445MW in the final month of 2104.
