Highland planners are recommending approval of RES plans for 13 turbines at Culachy at the south end of the Great Glen.
Members of the south planning applications committee meet next week to determine the 44MW project near Fort Augustus.
Culachy will if approved feature 12 turbines of up to 149.5 metrea nd a single machin of up to 132 metres.
Officials said the project “can be accommodated within the available landscape capacity”. There are no statutory objections to the wind farm.
SPAC members will also vote on SSE plans for the Melgarve substation near Laggan to accommodate power from its around 240MW Stronelairg wind farm.
Planners have recommended approval but an initial decision due earlier this year was postponed to conduct a site visit.
