Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez (pictured) will open the WindEurope Annual Event 2026 in Madrid on 21 April.
The European wind industry will gather in Madrid from 21-23 April for the annual event, WindEurope said.

Sánchez will speak at the inauguration ceremony at 12:00 on 21 April, the organisation added.
His participation underlines the political importance of wind energy for Spain and Europe.
WindEurope will present the Madrid Call to Action on the first day, calling on EU leaders to treat electrification as a strategic priority.
The three-day event will feature more than 400 speakers covering all aspects of wind energy development.
More than 620 exhibitors will also present their products at the event.
