Siemens and Dong are close to achieving the long-term goal of selling offshore wind installation specialist A2Sea, according to Danish media.
The joint owners of the company are expected to complete an around $200m to $250m deal in the near future following a bidding round in February, reported Berlingske Business.
The paper suggests another shipping company is the most likely buyer, with several existing offshore wind contractors in the mix.
Dong and Siemens have been seeking a buyer for some time.
The installation specialist was established in 2000 and has tackled work at a large portion of Northern Europe’s offshore wind fleet.
