Aqualis Offshore UK has signed a contract with Siemens to provide engineering services for offshore wind turbine installations.
Under the framework services agreement, the Norwegian company will provide engineering and design services including jack-up site specific assessments, geotechnical assessments as well as marine warranty services and marine consultancy.
Any of Aqualis’ 19 offices around the world can be requested to support Siemens Wind Power operations, the consultancy said.
“We have recently supported Siemens Wind Power with various assessments for wind turbine service operations in the North Sea,” Aqualis Offshore chief executive David Wells said.
“We are proud that we will now be able to offer the same type of services on a global scale, particularly for a market leading player such as Siemens.”
