UK civil engineering company BAM Nuttall is the principal contractor for the initial phase of renovation work on the Wick operations and maintenance base for the 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm.
The £10m O&M centre is scheduled to be ready for commissioning activities at the wind farm in 2018.
The Beatrice wind farm will feature 84 Siemens 7MW turbines to be installed in 2018.
It is being developed by SSE (40%), Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (35%) and SDIC Power of China (25%).
