Swire Blue Ocean jack-up Pacific Orca has installed 42 of the 84 Siemens Gamesa turbines at SSE’s 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm off the coast of Scotland.
The first 7MW machine was installed in July, when the project also delivered first power.

Full commissioning of Beatrice is planned for next year.
Swire Blue Ocean project manager Peter Kyhl said: “We are proud to be part of this immense undertaking in the harsh waters off the coast of Northern Scotland.
