Scottish fabricator BiFab is set to enter administration, according to the BBC.
The company, which has three yards in Scotland, has filed court papers and is citing cash flow difficulties, the broadcaster said.
BiFab is currently fabricating jackets for SSE’s under-construction 588MW Beatrice wind farm off Scotland.
The GMB union has 440 members working at the company and an emergency workplace meeting is to take place on Monday, the BBC added.
