Work on production facilities for Century Bladt Foundation, a joint venture between Century Wind Power and Bladt Industries in Taiwan, is well underway and expected to be completed in the coming year.
Bladt said the 31,000-metre-square production facility will be used for the manufacturing of jackets, monopiles and pin piles.
The building will be supported by a 4000-square-metre administration building.
Century Bladt Foundations chief operating officer Helle Schurmann Kragh said: “This is an amazing journey for both companies and I personally.
“I am sure this is going to become an exciting journey which will be able to contribute positively to the offshore wind in Taiwan.
“Never have I experienced a joint venture with so much speed ahead and with such a focus on establishing top modern production facilities from scratch.
“I believe that this will become one of the largest production facilities in Taiwan when it is up running.”
