The offshore high voltage station (OHVS) for the 165MW Belwind 2 offshore wind farm off the coast of Belgium is now ready for load out, developer Parkwind said.
The substation foundation for the wind farm near Zeebrugge was successfully installed last month and the transition piece was completed.
Danish company Bladt Industries and partner Semco Maritime tackled fabrication of the structures.
The Nobelwind project will feature 50 V112 3.3MW MHI Vestas turbines, with commissioning scheduled for next year.
