Bladt Industries has completed the final load out of jacket foundations for Iberdrola’s 350MW Wikinger offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea.
The Danish fabricator said jacket number 41 has been placed on a barge and soon it will be heading to the project site.
Bladt has built 41 four-legged jackets and 164 piles for the wind farm, with Navantia Shipyards in Spain responsible for the other 29 foundations.
Wikinger will consist of 70 Adwen 5MW turbines and is scheduled to come online next year.
