HSM Offshore has rolled out the topside for the Borssele Beta offshore substation at its yard in Schiedam in the Netherlands.
The topside will be fitted to a jacket foundation to link to the Dutch grid and the Borssele offshore wind farm.

HSM Offshore loaded out and transferred the jacket on to a barge in May.
The company secured the contract for both the Borssele Beta and Alpha offshore substations, with the latter unit to connect the Borssele 1&2 wind farm to the grid.
