HSM Offshore has loaded out the jacket foundation for the 700MW Borssele Beta offshore substation.
The structure was transferred on to a barge at HSM’s yard in Schiedam in the Netherlands.

The jacket will support the Borssele Beta platform, which will link to the grid the Borssele 3&4 offshore wind farm off the Dutch coast.
HSM Offshore secured the contract for both the Borssele Beta and Alpha offshore substations, with the latter 700MW unit to connect the Borssele 1&2 wind farm to the grid.
