RTE has awarded the contract for the construction of direct current electrical platforms for the Centre-Manche 1&2 and Oléron projects in France to the Chantiers de l’Atlantique – Hitachi Energy consortium.
This includes supply, construction and installation (EPCI) of offshore electrical substations and land-based converter stations for the offshore wind projects off the Normandy coast.

Over the coming weeks, RTE and the Chantiers de l’Atlantique – Hitachi Energy consortium will work to finalize all the contractual documents with a view to the upcoming signing of the contracts.
