CNOOD Wenchong Heavy Industries (CWHI) has made a final investment decision to build its XXXL monopile facility in Qinzhou Port, Guangxi, China.
The new site has an annual production capacity of 144 XXXL monopiles (maximum diameter of 15 metres and a maximum weight of 4500 tonnes) delivered via eight offshore wind power XXXL monopile foundation production lines.

Full annual production capacity will be reached upon completion of Phase 2, currently underway, and due to conclude in December.
Additional features include a 307-metre long, 12-metre deep quayside, capable of accommodating vessels up to and including 100,000-tonne ships, and a 86,000 square metre storage area with a load-bearing capacity of 20 tonnes per square metre.
