China’s State Power Investment Company has begun pile driving at the 400MW Binhai North offshore wind in the Jiangsu province.
Binhai North 2 (pictured) is being built across a number of phases, it is understood, with at least 100MW due to come online this year.
The 100-turbine wind farm is being developed by SPIC about 22km off the coast of the Jiangsu province.
Companies including Ramboll and Chinese cable manufacturer ZTT are working on the project.
