Construction has started on the 500MW Qingzhou 4 offshore wind farm off the coast of Yangjiang, Guangdong, China.
MingYang is supplying a total of 44 turbines to the project, it said.

It will devlier 25 11MW machines with 230-metre rotors as well as 18 12MW units with 242-metre rotors.
The turbines will be placed on fixed foundations.
MingYang is also supplying a floating turbine for the project, which is expected to be China’s first hybrid wind farm integrating with aquaculture farming and hydrogen production.
Qingzhou 4 is due online at the end of 2023.
The developer has not been disclosed.
